Need Help Cleaning My Gas Range Stovetop!

Ok, posting away today…

This is my stove. I love LOVE love my stove. It has a gas range and a convection oven (electric). The bottom drawer is actually a warming drawer but I still use it as a storage drawer. The only thing I can’t stand about this stove is cleaning it. It takes forever there are so many pieces to take off and clean individually.
Here is an up close of the range. The cast iron top is 3 pieces. Then each of the 4 burners has 2 pieces. I love the “look” but so much to clean!
Here is what it looks like once the pieces are removed. This is a cleaned corner that everything comes off and the black shines.
Here is the main front right burner that I use daily. The black is NOT so shiny and there is build up that I can’t get off for anything.
So, I come to you asking WHAT in the world can I use to get my stove looking back to its new condition. We got this in Feb. when we moved back into our house and I want it too look nice and last for years. Any suggestions? Does anyone else have a stove like this and a problem like this?

I remember having one of those flat top electric stoves and anytime you boiled over it would make a huge mess that burned and you’d have to scrub the top like crazy!

I am sorry I cannot help but was hoping someone else might know! The hardest thing for me to get off is water that has boiled over and is “burnt” to the stove. I hate it! 🙂

SoftScrub! I have a cooktop with ceramic burners (cooktop is glass, but the gas burner rings and covers are ceramic). SoftScrub cleans it right up. However, I absolutely hate it because the grates don’t individuall cover the burners; I have two grates that cover 4 burners. The grates are horrible to clean b/c they don’t fit in the sink to soak! And, for a relatively high end brand (not rich, but they weren’t the cheapest), the ceramic began flaking off waaaaay before it ever should.
